On the first day of May, the day of lovers, we finally got back to our hiking routine again. We haven’t post any for a while, right? Having a long break since our last hike we decided to go easy this day, and that is why the path with almost no hills on the way…

The hiking path goes along 5 nice lakes and includes a stop by a unique wooden lookout tower. You will visit some charming places that maybe you didn’t know about.

This hike was a nice surprise for us. When I planned the route with a map, I saw several nice ponds in the Smetanka Nature Park and Klánovice-Čihadla Nature Park. I wondered how to connect them all together so that we could enjoy the walk and at the same time see something interesting…

So I started working on it!

From the map I counted five larger ponds along which I wanted to direct the walk. We walked along the ponds: 1. Hořejší rybník, 2. Kyjský rybník, 3. Vidlák, 4. Martiňák, and lastly 5. Počernický rybník.

In addition to the ponds, there are also very nicely revitalized meanders of the Rokytka stream along the way.

Furthermore, in order not to be completely without the views that we really like, we set to visit the modern wooden lookout tower Doubravka XIV.

And in the final part we went through also a nicely revitalized part of the park Klánovice-Čihadla and the destination was the castle park Dolní Počernice, where we had opportunity can relax on the dam of ponds or in one of the local restaurants.
